MAASAI RECEIVE THE WORD
Evangelism had not been successful in reaching the Maasai, when I first arrived in the bush country of Kenya in 2002. Though there had been much effort over a 70 year period, it was said that of million Maasai there were at most a few hundred Christians spread over Eastern Africa.
Many believed that Maasai were unreachable. However, traditional evangelism had not given consideration to their unique culture. But as the timing of God's "Call" to His people approached, the reluctance gave way to embrace.

The book about "Call to GLORY" goes into details of the rapid awakening among the Maasai. Simply said, the word that they had been redeemed from the curse was quickly received.
By the close of 2009, a restlessness had come upon them. Old men had come into the church, which before had been almost unheard of. Young men yearned to go to Israel and greet their Jewish Brothers. By divine revelation, a spiritual leader, Bishop Josiah Muesha, called for a gathering of Maasai in Nairobi, Kenya.
Then, in April 2010 came to official public announcements: (1) Maasai are the descendents of Joseph of Egypt, formerly know as Manasseh; (2) that it is God's will that all Maasai proclaim Jesus as the Messiah.
